The Sharjah Museum
The Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization is a magnificent cultural center located in the city of Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates.
The primary objective was to improve online sales performance. My responsibilities included a concentrated effort on refining both the product card interface and the checkout page to guarantee a seamless user experience and to drive customer engagement and conversions.

• case study

I was responsible for the design and creation of key design pages for the museum's website, where users could easily book tickets to visit the museum and learn about current and upcoming exhibitions, special events, and tours.
My work began with thoroughly analyzing the museum's user needs and goals. This included studying visitor behavior, identifying the most popular features, and developing user-friendly site navigation. The main goal was to create an intuitive interface allowing users to easily find the information they were interested in and make reservations.

Special attention was given to the field trips and special events section. I developed a system of alerts and reminders so that users could receive timely information about new events and exhibitions and the opportunity to subscribe to the museum's newsletter. This not only increased user engagement, but also attendance at events.

Research and analysis

Before developing the website design, I conducted a competitive analysis. A number of competitors were selected for consideration, including museum websites.
02

Wireframing and prototyping

During the prototyping phase, I created a block structure to visualize how the design interface would look and where the different elements would be located. I started with simple diagrams to define the main areas and components such as buttons, menus, and input fields. I then moved to a more detailed prototype, adding all the text, fonts, and basic interactions to the pages. This process allowed me to see how users would interact with the site. I was able to make any necessary adjustments before the development phase began.

UI Design

I used a variety of colors and carefully selected images to give the design a complete and harmonious look. This not only provided aesthetic appeal, but also helped to create a pleasant and intuitive user interaction, which improved the perception and usability of the site.
Working closely with the art director, I provided not only 10 different designs, but a series of unique concepts for the museum's website. Each design was carefully crafted, from the color palette and fonts to small details like buttons and icons, to create a harmonious and appealing visual style.
We discussed and tested several approaches to select the ones that best fit the museum's mission and values. As we worked together, we also focused on the user experience, testing and gathering feedback to make necessary improvements. As a result, the museum's website has become not only a convenient tool for getting information and booking tickets, but also a full-fledged platform that enhances the museum's interaction with its audience, attracting more visitors and increasing their interest in events.
